    UMBRELLAS were put to the ultimate test on Monday night as wild weather lashed the city.Those heading home faced off against menacing skies, thunder and lightening with wind gusts of up to 72km/h recorded at the Geelong Racecourse.The Bureau of Meteorology’s Dean Stewart said the strongest gust had been recorded at Mt Gellibrand between Colac and Winchelsea.
