    GEELONG’S employment rates have been on the rise over the past three months, ­according to the State Government.The Andrew’s Labor Government reported that employment growth in Geelong and the Victoria’s northwest regions had improved.More than 9500 people are said to be employed in Geelong and 4700 in the northwest region, while Victoria’s three-month average unemployment rate has dropped from 6.7 per cent in March to 5.6 per cent in June.The figures come on the back of ABS data that shows that..
